Hello, so I think I may know the issues, but want to get a second opinion:
Warnings
Battery saver: only when it is real cold
P0299: turbo underboost
Low voltage at idle
So, the truck when I remote start, I know is suppose to fluctuate volts due to the grid heater. But going down to 11 volts seems a bit low. Same night after filling the truck up with diesel, it was idling at 11volts but as soon as I hit the gas it shoots to 14v. This morning I got the battery saver warning again even at 14volts. I leaning its time to replace the batteries, wondering if my connectors are playing into it?
The p0299 code. I got that last night. The truck was still cold and was sluggish and check engine came on. Reset the light back home and so far no return. Now there is a K&N filter in there and might be dirty. I also know from reading around these truck can be picky on air filters. So was going to get a mopar one and see if that fixes it from coming back. I don't think the Turbo is going out. Still got plenty of boost, reached 30psi getting on the interstate this morning and exhaust break seems normal. So I think I rule out Turbo or air leak, unless any one has experience with this code?
Attached is code reader and negative battery terminals to see if they may be to croded.
Thanks in advance for any input
