After many years in HD trucks I brought home a 2022 Ram 1500 last night, traded in my 2021 MegaCab.
Just didn't need a bigger truck anymore. I'm sure I'll miss my Cummins, but my new Hemi has nice a really nice sound.

We will see you back soon................

I’ll miss my ‘19 1500 Laramie for about 2 minutes when I get into the new 2500 Laramie. At least that’s the plan. Love the 1500 and have a feeling will love the 2500 that much more.

I agree, you will love your new HD! I never planned on a dually myself, but I really like this thing!

Only thing I miss from my 19’ 1500 was the huge second row. Honestly, i’ll probably take the loss if/when RAM releases an HD with the gen5 cab.
The 2500 has smaller back seats?!

EDIT: I did NOT know that the 2500 had 5" less legroom in the rear. That really sucks.

Isn’t it just 3”? I haven’t looked in a bit but I thought that was the difference. Which is why I ordered the Mega Cab. So I didn’t lose that space.

Wow. Really glad I changed my order to a Mega. That wouldn't have worked.
Well, I left off a couple options of my order. It was built a week ago... but I'm contemplating ordering another one. I'm not sure if my dealer will allow that given the current deal we have. I have 2 kids, so we shall see what happens. We couldn't make the quad cab work in the 1500, which is 35" of legroom. I'm hoping it will work out just fine :)

probably the hardest thing I'd have to adjust to if I ever went back to a half ton is losing the bed space...driven duallies for the last 20+ years and we picked up a 2500 hemi last year as an extra vehicle...the short bed feels like you can't put anything back there

That’s why I’m getting a CCLB. The 8’ bed will be heaven
