Going from 35/12.5/20 to 37/11.5/20. Thoughts?

I have a 2020 RAM 2500 with a leveled front end. I currently have 35/12.5/20 Nittos on the factory "night edition" wheels.
I am thinking about going to 37/11.5/20 tires.

Thoughts?
 
I have 37x12.50s and they definitely don't look all that wide. I think 11.5 will look pretty skinny on a truck that tall. Whether that's a good or bad thing depends on your preference. With stock wheels you may have rubbing on the radius arms and sway bar.
 
Do you plan on mounting the 11.5s on the stock rims? I think the night edition wheels are +57, here is my truck with +20 and 12.5s. Tough decision to make if your only looking at pictures and a lot of money to spend if you don't like the look after mounted.IMG_20230527_165755951_HDR.jpgIMG_20230527_165854984_HDR.jpg
 
You might end up with the "pizza cutter" look on such a big truck. On the positive side 11.5s on stock rims will be tucked in minimizing slinging rocks on your paint, not sure about rubbing concerns.
 
11.50's would be better for snow and ice, if that's what you will be driving in.

But like others have said, may look a little skinny.

I have 12.50's on my stock Power wagon off road rims and they look a little skinny. But 13.50s would be too wide and rub.
 
I just installed 37x12.50x17 Recon Grapplers on my mega cab and feel it looks great, but 13.50s would better suit the size. These trucks are huge. But visual modifications are such a hard topic to "debate" as everyone sees things differently. In the end, do whatever YOU like. If you like the tire looking a little skinny as others mentioned, roll with it. If you prefer a beefier look, like I do, well, 12.50 or wider.
 
If youre going purely for looks i like the 37x12.50s better personally but as others have said if you do much snow and ice driving the 11.50s will be better.
 
Never heard of pizza cutters until I started doing tire size picture searches. The youngsters at work said my truck was " tooted " when I had only the front lift springs installed.

Is that like the "Florida lean"?
 
I know you are keeping the stocks, but a +18 offset and 12.5's pull you out ever so slightly and get you a bit more manageable stance to fit the truck's overall size.
37's work so well on these trucks, it's just phenomenal....considering how hard 35's are to fit on the GMs.
These are my 37x12.50R18's Falken's on Racelines 18x9's +18.

I know on the older trucks with the 3.42 it was recommended to regear when going to a 37" tire. What's everyone take on having to do this on the 19+ trucks with a 3.73 rear end? Curious if the 37s will cause any transmission issues over an extended period of time (100k+ miles).

Revmax won't warranty their transmissions if you go above a 35" tire without a regear...to me that kinda says something....jmo.....
