...towing 10k toyhaualer through the Eisenhower Tunnel. Truck is about 10k also. I plan on using the GoPro to record the ascent. I can display the engine instrument stack in the center of the dash (Bighorn) so I'll record that and the gear indicator.

I have a cheap OBDII reader that can show and record dozens of other parameters on my phone. Is there anything specific that anyone wants to see off the OBDII? Let me know before tomorrow morning and I'll see what I can do.

Quick update. Made it just fine. Up several long (guessing 6%) grades and was able to accelerate to 55mph in the climb. 3rd gear and 4500rpms I believe. Could have gone faster but the road was rough. Yes, the fan was howling! At the loudest is was 70db.

Drove 640 miles today so I'm whipped. I have video that I'll load when I get to it.

After Denver on the plains of eastern CO and Kansas, I set the cruise at 75 and it was in 7th and quiet most of the time. 5th is tolerable as it's a nice V8 growl. 4th screams. If it shifts to 4th too often, I backed the cruise down to 70 to stay in 5th until the road flattend out. 60-65 would be 6th and 7th. Mileage dropped to 6.4mpg at the higher speeds. 60-65 was around 8.5mpg. Two and a half days left to Florida.
