Hi everyone. I am a Mechanic with 30+ Years experience on European cars, However in the last few years I have worked on just about everything. I had a 2017 Ram
1500 sport with the 5.7. I loved it but it had all kinds of problems. I sold the truck and have been driving a 2017 Dodge Caravan since , I also have a 2006 Mercedes
R500 which is an awesome vehicle…5.0 L V8 AWD . I live in Calgary Alberta. I am 65 OCTOBER 21st and I was going to retire. I have decided to keep working until June so I can save up for a truck to travel with a trailer to the Grand Canyon and Alaska, among other places. I have done some research and I would love to get a Used Ram 2500. I love the idea of solid axles and the 6.4 gas engine. I don’t need a diesel and the repair costs are high when they get tired. I am looking at various years and don’t have an unlimited budget. So a 2017 and up for 30-35,000 is my target in the spring. Would love to hear if anyone has a 2500 and what to look out for. Also if anyone has traveled to Alaska or the Grand Canyon
