It’s time to order filters and was wondering if Geno’s ever sends out promo codes or coupons ?

As far as filters go I noticed a price difference between mopar and fleetguard with fleetguard being more expensive.
Then both are more expensive then Doc’s. I know people that use Doc’s with no problems but in my case I only do a once a year service, mileage never comes into play so I’m guessing oem would be the better option.
Oil is a whole different ordeal. Amsoil, Schaffers, Hot Shots, or Rotella….

I’ve never got a coupon code from genos and I’ve been using them since they opened. If you’re talking about the oil filters the 16035 is better filtration then the oem mopar, that may be the cost difference. I can’t comment on docs I’ve never used them.

Only discount I’ve seen Geno’s give is military.

The mopar oil filter is one of the least efficient filters for these engines. The stratopre is a much better filter, and the Donalson DBL7349 is even better.

To me filtration is much more important that oil, but I’m picky about both. I run the DBL7349 and Amsoil 5w-40 ADO oil.

The docs filter says it’s 25um. Is that nominal or absolute? The Donaldson is 15um absolute.

According to the Canadian Amsol site, a 6.7 HO ETM takes the 10w 30 ...sound correct ?
All 2019 and newer Cummins take 10W30. You can also use 5W40 synthetic. Apparently the change was due to the hydraulic lifters in the new blocks. Oil requirement is printed on the oil fill cap or at least it should be.

Also when looking up the Donaldson oil filter I'm getting a P558615 not the DBL7349
Says 10w30 or 5w40 and that’s dependent on temperature. I live in the south, hot summers, mild winters with temps hardly below 20 degrees at night.
The temperature range has me leaning to 10w30 but I may be over thinking that as well ..

Temps above -18°C (0°F) calls for 10w-30, temps that may go colder calls for 5w-40.

The P558615 is the OEM replacement, the DBL7349 is the upgraded filter.
