GCVWR for 2020 3500

This is in PA. Your state may be different. I need to "combo" my RAM as I am pulling trailers over 10K. This means filling out a form, having it signed by a mechanic and getting a registration with the GCVWR listed in addition to the GVWR. Obtaining said GCVWR is proving more than difficult. It's on the RAM website for 2024/25.... But I can't use that. I called RAM and they say they don't have that info and to call the dealer. (Customer care only deals with warrantee questions. Technical stuff all has to go through dealer.......) Dealer says it's on the sticker on the door. It is not. There is not ONE number on towing anywhere in the book.

I am hoping someone screen shot/printed the "Payload and Towing Weight Capacities" factory web page in 2020...........

You’re looking for GCWR not GCVWR.

That being said you can likely register it for whatever GCW you want to. I’d stick to 26K or you might have to deal with commercial fees and regulations, but each state is different.

It’s the same. GCWR and GVWR do not vary by trim, only the published payload and that’s printed on your door frame label.
