Has anyone installed one of these on their 2500? I'm looking to make some modifications so I can install one against my toolbox, but the manufacturer doesn't seem to want to provide the actual dimensions of the canister so I can make sure it will fit between the rails and above my wheels. These are manufactured by Retrax, and when you mention modifications they redirect you to their website where they will sell modified Retrax Pro MX covers for over double the price of the Gators. I'm looking for the actual width of the canister, as well as the exact measurement for how far below the rails the canister hangs. The modification looks to be as easy as cutting the length of the rail and drilling a hole for the mounting screw.
