So two weeks ago I checked my oil and added about 1/4 quart. Nothing too surprising at the first 8000 miles. Next day I got an engine light. Took it to ram, they ran a diag and found an ECM update and made me an appointment two weeks later. Monday I decided to wash the truck and found that I had forgotten to replace the cap after adding oil. Luckily it was still on the cowling. Tightened it up and the engine light went away. This may be obvious to some but I’ve had a 6.7 for 10yrs and hadn’t heard of this.
