Fuel neck cap

Howdy,
For other 2019 Ram HD Diesel members out there.
The 2019 RAM HD are using a new style fuel neck. This new style has ribbing in the throat. I have found that the billet aluminum caps do not fit properly.

The only proper fitting cover would be the MOPAR 82215782 cap.

It is just a simply plastic cover with a tether. They think mighty highly of this little plastic thingy for the price they want.

i use the billet fuel and def cap. fits fine.

...but yet, the factory unit is a plastic piece.

I got a billet set off amazon. The DEF cap it a perfect replacement for the plastic cap, the Diesel cap stays in place good as well. I have found that with the ribs at the top, I slide the cap in from bottom to top and press the o-ring against the ridges, then push it in. hasn't budged on me.

I got the billet fuel cap from Geno's. With the new neck design it fits so tight I have to pry it out. Geno's is working on a different o-ring to alleviate this.
