Fuel Filler 2021

Is there suppose to be no fuel cap on the New Rams? My new Ram has a Blue plastic cap on the fuel filler that looks like a shipping protector.
 
Thats just for shipping you can throw it away, you dont need one but you can buy some fuel caps
 
Yeah, that's not cool when shipping runs more $$ than the actual item that gets shipped.

Still worth a look, they have never done me wrong and I think shipping was comparable for certain items shipped to Washington.
 
I like the Green cap from Geno's
When my new 2021 comes in, I'll swap it from my 2016.

as much as i prefer supporting places like genos it does not make sense eve for the filter kit i can buy it all at the dealer for much less.... being in canada sucks at times like these as it would cost me 305$ for their filter kit by the time i calculate shipping/taxes and the crappy Canadian dollar.....

FYI: I just ordered one from Amazon with the def cap and it appears the new gen trucks are sized differently than gen 4s. I looked at my 17 to verify if they are the same comparing to my on order 21. No such luck.

Looked at Genos and the price was 3-4 time more shipping was $10. Amazon reviews seem decent on the one I ordered:

DIESEL Only for 2019 2020 Dodge Ram green diesel fuel cap. And DEF Cap. The aluminum fuel tank cap is magnetic https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08NCTBZMW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_6JEH950XTWHPYX7R9QBY

I ordered that same cap for my 2020 3500. If you have big hands, it's near impossible to get it to turn and latch in place. I returned it for this reason.
Let us know how it works out once you receive it.
