Front license plate

Previously I removed the front plastic valance from the front bumper, but left the plastic license plate frame. This past week I hit some snow drifts and “removed” the plastic license plate frame from the bumper. Currently just the plate itself is bolted to the front bumper through the factory holes. The plate is the lowest part of the front of the truck and will surely hang up on something again.

I’ve looked at hawse fairlead mounted brackets but the PW’s looks too recessed into the bumper? Anyone know of a rigid solution, out of the way for offroading? Thanks.

I removed the plastic air dam as well , bolted License plate right to the bumper, bent the license plate a bit to conform to the bumper. Haven’t had it hang up on anything yet.

I did that on my 2005. For my 2019 I bought this from Cascadia 4x4 and mounted over the fairlead.

The PW Hawse fairlead is custom and doesn't work with any of the normal behind the fairlead mounts.

Also sending a pic on the new bumper.

Pretty much looks the same but the new number I did the mount behind a Cascadia 4x4 Hawse fairlead.

Yeah, the it’s attached with bolts and wing nuts currently. The plan was to just unbolt at the trailhead.
