For those with painted bumpers, are you using a film or other protection to keep the stone chips and other wear at bay? If so what are you using, DIY install and happy with it? Thanks

I did the bumper, headlights, and grill. The grill is the painted area around the actual grill in the night edition. and Below the doors into the door jam. $1,200

I had the front bumper of my previous Ram 1500 sprayed with Line X that was color matched to the paint. No more chips after that. It cost me around $175

Was just quoted a very rough figure of $2k for full frontal protection of Xpel installed. I knew it wouldn't be cheap and it may not be that much but Wowza. Not what I was expecting. It will be done regardless of cost.

I had 3M Scotchard done on the whole hood, front fenders, headlights, grille, rockers, door handles, and door cups. Mirrors were skipped due to the texture.

Full hood, bumper, front fenders and mirrors would have been $1750. I added the extra stuff.
