Front center bench seat doesn’t have shoulder strap....

Hello everyone.
Just purchase ‘20 3500 Laramie with front bench seat. 3500’s center seat has just a lap belt. Wondering if i can replace center seat with one from 1500(which has shoulder belt). On width they are same size but i don’t know if they have same bolt pattern. Have anyone done anything like that? Or have any ideas. I would like to use that seat sometimes to fit 6th.

I do not think the cab is setup yet. If a Laramie doesn't have it that would be my guess. If you had a tradesman it might be an option.

Did the 2018 come with it?

If the 2019 Ram 1500 DT is the first to have it, then the 2019 RAM heavy duty will not have it.

If it is something available on a Heavy Duty it is very odd your Laramie doesn't already have it.

Sorry. I just don't have enough info to answer, but if someone has the answers to the above, we can come to a conclusion

Just curious, but what is your reasoning for wanting to replace the lap belt with a shoulder belt?

Thank you for replies. Dealer doesn’t know much. Even on parts diagram doesn’t show .

2019+ 1500 laramie bench seat have shoulder belt.

It much safer with shoulder belt then just lap strap.

Which would have the new cab and I would assume somehow has a different mounting setup to include the logistics of the shoulder belt.

Just my thoughts.
