I have 2022 tradesman and I've found my self needing a front camera a few times, especially off road. I've seen a few mods here on how to install a 360 camera, but I only need the front and don't wanna spend 2k for a 360.
I plan on installing the front camera, then connecting the front & rear camera to a video switch.
The truck would think its showing me the rear camera but I will be able to control manually which feed is being displayed on the screen.
Love to hear yalls input. Thanks
LIMITING FACTORS:
Finding a video switch that accepts the OEM connections.

Won’t work. I never could find a switcher that could switch between two digital camera lvds signal cables. That, and you would be looking at a reversed front camera image.
You’re better off just using the tried and true method of getting any standard aftermarket camera for the front, and using the cargo camera or aux trailer camera input with their soft keys to turn it on.

That sound like a better idea. Thanks!
