Anyone washing their new truck with a Foam Cannon? Is their a good one, or bad ones out there? Do you have to hook them up to a power washer or can you connect it to a regular hose? What to use if we have extremely hard water that leaves white dried stuff all over the truck?

The only way to prevent water spots is to dry it before they evaporate or use a sheeting paint sealant/wax that doesn't bead.

Thanks. What about washing with a water softener system that we use for an RV? Does that help too?

I have a foam cannon with my 2600psi/2.3 gallon washer. It make foam with anything you put in it, right now im using the chemical guys pink shampoo. I'm a big fan of Adam's, but can't always justify their prices.

The foam cannon I ordered from Adam's Polishes is supposed to be delivered today. I got the one that connects to the pressure washer. However, it just will NOT stop raining here, so my car washing is on hold. I'll give a review if I ever get to use it.

I’m a fan of the Chemical Guys stuff and have their foam cannon. Works fine for my level of expertise. Their honeydew snow foam car wash comes out thick like shaving cream. I do foam my truck and let the heavy suds pull the dirt off and rinse before I actually wash the truck to avoid swirls in the paint as much as I can.

I pasted a link to a YouTube guy, Pan the Organizer, who does a comparison of foam cannons. He is a little kooky but I like his videos. I like him because he doesn’t come off as a know it all or talk forever withought saying anything and make me lose interest. Check it out and see what you think.
