cummins oem is best

on another note just to keep questions going for whoever else might need to know

looks like non synthetic oil is ok...so delvac 1300 I use in my other trucks should be fine right?

From what I read the manual says it has to meet CK-4 rating and specifies either 10w-30 or if below 0*F 5w-40 is recommended.
I was going with Rotella T5 10w-30 semi synthetic. The temps here get down to around 15*F and my truck is garaged.

fl ..30 is cold for a day....ive always used delvac 1300..sticking with that...if it goes 300k like my 02 then ill be happy

I read that..hard to believe but I guess ya gotta go with what cummins specs..pita tho ..lol

I went with the full synthetic, didn't seem to cost much more than the blend online. I'm sure they're both great.

This place has it for a decent price,

Uh ok so I ordered the exact part numbers and the front fuel filter doesn’t have the green lining but it came with the correct mopar original box and it has all the cummins and fleet guard marking on the top of it maybe this is an updated version. I ordered off of diesel filters online. I’m not sure can anyone see if they have one without a green lining I’m not sure other than that it seems to be the correct fuel filter it came with the manual and shrink wrapped it looks to be a real mopar filter thanks in advance
