These two companies have recalled or recalling vehicles because of issues with the backup camera. Unfortunately Ram still continues to ignore the fact that the screens continue to go black which prevents the backup camera from operating properly.

I have had Ram 2500s for the last 14 years. A new one every year from work. Never had a screen go black, hmmmm
 
No issues with my 2022 3500. There were people having issues. I believe a Uconnect update fixed the issue.
 
Mine works fine. Although I almost never use it. Gotten by with my side mirrors just fine.
Certainly is one of those things that if it stopped working I wouldn’t miss it one bit
 
Only time I use it is when I’m getting close to the trailer ball.
 
I had mine go black onc early on but it hasn't done it since. I have more of a problem with the damn thing being too bright when backing up at night!

Do you have U connect 5? All of the 5's I've been in are crazy bright!!
