Hi guys, just bought a new-to-me 2015 3500 SRW Laramie Long Box, Cummins diesel with 81k miles. I finally sold the ol' Surburban, she was a 2001 2500LT 4WD with 8.1L big block and 4.10 rear that we used to haul the family and tow the camper. Now have a Lance slide-in, so got the truck to carry it! My friends thought I was nuts trading in my 2016 Scat Pack M6 Challenger, but at the end of the day I have too many hobbies and camping/fishing is winning! I have a lot to learn about care and feeding of the diesel, but so far really love the truck!!

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new RAM. A bit of unsolicited advice for longer life of your diesel. Do NOT just start it up and go! Give it a bit for the turbo bearings to warm up and start getting oil. Likewise don't just shut her down without a short cooldown period. I personally don't even put mine in gear before reaching at least 120 on the coolant temp and never shut her down without sitting in idle for at least 2 mins first. Just my 2 pennies worth!
