2022 dually, 42k miles, stays hooked to a horse trailer most of the time. Stock Nexens on the front started separating within days of each other last week. Right front at the end of the week so I just threw the spare on - was hauling horses the next day a couple states away and the left front started shaking the truck like crazy. That's on me - should've gone ahead and at a minimum replaced both fronts before heading out.
The only tire shop I could even find open on a Saturday evening only had a Firestone Tranforce AT2 in a 235/80/17. I know their reputation isn't great. Most of the time when I see these discussed it's always on SRW trucks. Don't think I've ever seen this tire in a 235 on a dually - but was thinking about just buying another one for the front for now as the duals still have some life in them (not worried about the look of mismatched tires).......has anyone had any recent experience with these - specifically on a dually?
