Well after two years away I’m back in a Ram. Picking up a new leftover 2022 2500 crew Cab standard bed Cummins on Saturday. Test drove it today and was very impressed. This literally happened within 2 days, I had not intended to do this now but getting $7500 off MSRP was too good to pass up. It’s not my first diesel but it is my first Cummins. I had a 2020 Ram Ecodiesel that I loved but due to getting a bigger camper I bought a Silverado 3500 gasser. That was a great truck and I have no complaints. I’ve just always wanted a Cummmins so here I am.
It’s a nicely optioned Tradesman. Cold weather group, snow chief group, 5th wheel prep, chrome appearance group, tradesman level 2, Cummins, 7” instrument cluster, unconnect 8.4, rear wheel liners, rear parking sensors, trailer tow mirrors, mopar rubber floor mats, electronic transfer case and trailer brake controller.
Besides a tonneau cover and step boards I wasn’t going to do anything to it for a while but the wife wants me to start de-chroming and get different wheels right away. Hard to say no to that. Other than that I’m looking forward to owning and enjoying this truck
