Fifth Wheel prep wiring in bed

I have a 2024 Ram 3500 dally that I want to install the factory fifth wheel plug and wiring harness. On the recommendation of the dealer parts rep, I purchased the fifth wheel prep kit p/n 82216066AB. However when I received it I see that it is a camera prep kit but it does include the 7 pin plug and a harness. However, I don’t think this is all that I need. I feel like there is something missing. Even these instructions indicate the truck must have the fifth wheel prep kit. I cannot find the “prep kit” and the dealership is not much help. Any guidance would be much appreciated.

Look up part #82212195AB. I just had to order as well to get the 7 pin connector into the bed of the truck for a 5th wheel purchase in a couple months. Just verify that it fits the 3500 DRW as I have the SRW. Sure there the same.

You can get a kit from Curt on amazon for 1/2 the price and curt makes them for Ram if im not mistaken

I bought a Curt piece when I installed the factory puck kit and it works great. Plug and play.
