Fifth wheel harness with camera, part number?

I think I saw this in the TPMS thread, wanted to pull it out rather than ask there. I have the 7/12 at the bumper, and want to add the fifth wheel harness as well when I add the pucks.

Has anyone had any success in tracking down a part number for that harness? Not coming up with anything searching the part sites manually.

I know someone posted pics that look like the source; factory is always easier if we can get the right part number.

Any chance someone with the option could look at the harness for a number? I had the regular 7 way on the truck I just traded in, and it was fairly easy to see up the harness from below; I tapped into it to drive my bumper lights.

Thanks in advance -- if I can source the part, I'll write up a post on how/where to squeeze it into a Rambox bed, I think it will probably have to be down lower than normal based on other posts I've read about doing the 7-way.

If you can't locate the factory harness, there are aftermarket 7-pin bed plugs the just plug in between the body harness and bumper plug.

I expect someone with TechAuthority might jump in here for you.

I believe my truck ordered with the tow group has a completely different harness, but I could be wrong.

Yep, the factory 7 way is easy to find -- I'm hoping to find the 7/12 way combo for the auxiliary camera interface, to be able to eventually use the factory trailer camera setup with the fifth wheel.

I have a 2019 3500 that did not have the xfq prep package. I added it myself and it is not the same as the 2020 with the 7/12 connector in the bed. In fact, the hole that is in mine is round with 2 mounting holes. The 2020 version hole is cut different, round with a square cut further forward. It has 4 mounting holes. I looked at mine, and the wiring for that location came with 7 way only. Your only option would be to reroute the bumper cable to the bed and cut the internal bed wall to accept the correct plate. Not an easy task to find that plate or to cut the hole cleanly.

I have a 2020; are you saying there isn't a package from Ram that has the 7/12 in both the bumper and the bed? The screen has the options ready for 2 Auxiliary cameras, I guess that was my assumption, one bumper one bed, maybe that's for two different bumper-pull trailers?

If you have the 2020 you should have the right cutout. Can you remove your plate and take a picture?

Are you talking about a plate in the bed wall somewhere? I have the Rambox, so not a standard install option, so I would have to find a place to fit it.

There are 2 camera video circuits on the 12-pin connector.
