Preface: I’ll admit I’m lazy and don’t feel like going outside to check and measure.
I ordered my 2021 2500 CC SB with the fifth wheel prep kit. I’m naïvely assuming that there are threaded holes under the pucks in the bed. Assuming there are, does anyone know the bolt thread size and pitch used to screw down the fifth wheel rails into those holes? I’m installing a sled deck and don’t particularly care for the turnbuckle system. I was thinking I mau just weld a couple pieces of C channel to the deck stands, and bolt them through the bed in place of the 5th wheel.
