Favorites Disappear / Allow UConnect to Access Contacts Notifications

I've found lots of threads but no solutions. Basically running Android Auto causes the favorites to delete after the truck has been restarted. I haven't taken the time to log exactly the sequence that causes this but one thing that is annoying that I have not seen mentioned on other threads is this Notification sent to my phone when I turn the vehicle only, almost every time. It says a device wants access to my messages and contacts. I have to select Allow. I should not have to do this everytime since the same phone is paired and I'm the only driver.

This is not an issue in my previous 2022 Ram Limited, which is UC5 / 12"

Just posting some additional information and thought I'd ask if anyone has found a working solution outside of purchasing additional hardware to do the wireless AA.
