Haven't been able to find quite the same issue yet in reading.
Referring to the engine cooling fan -- I'm used to the loud rush of the fan on start up from a Cummins, I had a '17 prior to the new one. Loud sound of moving a lot of air with the clutch fully engaged until the clutch warms up a bit and you're rolling, all normal behavior.
What's different about this one is that I'm hearing almost a buzzing vibration sound with it? Much more annoying, and louder than the normal sound of the fan. Makes it much more obvious when the clutch gets fully engaged -- on a hot day, every restart buzzes for a good 30-60 seconds, even after getting going, as if it will stay on until I'm up to a certain speed, not just RPM.
Is it possible for the fan to be out of balance, or a bad bearing maybe? Anyone experienced that yet? Or do the fans on a '20 just sound different than what would have been on a '17?
2020 Megacab Limited, if it matters, thanks!!
