Fairlead allen wrench size

Need to pull my bumper and that requires taking off the fairlead. Mine is a '21 and has Allen bolts in it, not Torx.
Anyone know for sure what size Allen is needed.
I measure it and get 12.4MM or 31/64.
1/2" is too big.

My 2019 is a standard Torx 55.

They switched to Allen's sometime between '19 and '20 model year.

Try a 10mm...I'm thinking they went metric. Harbor Freight is a great place for those "one time" use tools, maybe a two time use

It's not 10MM. I measured 12.4 MM.
I have 10 MM and 3/8". They are too small.

It's not a Torx and it's bigger than a 10MM, all of which I put in my original post.

it must be a 12mm Allen. There is no other size that makes sense
7/16 is 11.something and 1/2 is 12.7 (too big as you said)

A 3/8" ratchet just spins.
A 1/2" doesn't fit.
Do they make a 12.5MM?

Was thinking of getting a 1/2" and grinding it down to fit.
A 15/32" is a little small, same as the 12MM is a little small.

Really odd that it’s a goofy size. That size may exist but I haven’t seen it.

I have a huge Allen kit. I just checked it and there aren’t any half sizes between 12 and 13; half mm sizes stop at 6.5, I believe. Nor are there any 32nd sizes between 7/16 and 1/2.

Or get a 12 MM and hope it works.
I'll test fit before I leave the store parking lot. It's a 40 mile drive home from the store.

My 12mm fits on my ‘23 fairlead almost perfectly.

Yea, I measured at 12.4 MM/ 15/32"

So might just get a 12 MMand 1/2" and hope for the best.

12.4MM is bigger than 10MM.

Ok, I have a definitive answer. Got a 12 MM Allen socket today. It fits perfect. No slop.
I measured 12.44MM on the hole.
.44MM is 1/64". I guess that's the slop it needs to fit the 12MM Allen.

Mines been on and off 50 times using my 12mm Allen wrench while I fabbed up a plate to go behind the Factor 55 fairlead (the factory fairlead is way too rough textured IMHO).
