My 22 2500 came with the 18" raised white letter Firestone Transforce tires on it. I'm thinking about pulling them and installing my tried and true Michelin's. My question is for folks that have done this, will the OEM tires be easy to sell? They only have 1000 miles on them right now. What is a fair price to ask for them?

It all depends on how fast you want to sell them, I think $400-$500 is usually what you could get for them. I sold mine in about a week for $450 with 1000 miles on them.

I've had my factory 20"s listed on Craigslist for months at $800 and nothing...

If that's tires only, I doubt they'll sell at that price.

Sold mine (500 miles) on FB marketplace in a week for $500 (back in 2020). Buyer probably doesn't hang out in any forums and was looking for a new set on the cheap for their 19 2500 ranch truck.

Sold mine to a buddy for $500, who needed tires for his 1500.

I got a $75 credit per tire, at discount.
That's where I'm getting my new tires put on this coming Thursday. But when I talked to them on the phone about it, they indicated they'd only give me about $40 a tire. I'll deal with the hassle of selling them myself before I'd agree to that deal. For $75 a pop, I'd have to give it more serious thought though. Think I'll list them for $500 and see how it goes.

My go to Tire guy gave me 600 bucks in trade for a new set of Michelins LTX (4 295/70/18). Best decision I made.

When I bought my new tires I asked the guy if he could take a trade in on my old Firestones and he showed me 4 racks of traded in tires he could not sell and told me "this is why I don't take trade ins anymore " so I guess your guy is a much better salesman. :(

The OEM Firestone's didn't last a day on FB marketplace. Put the ad in for them at 8pm or so at $500. I had 10 responses wanting them the next morning and several more came in after that. Got full asking before noon the next day. Maybe I didn't ask enough, but I'm happy with what I got and how quickly they sold. Covered 40% of the out the door cost of my new tires.

Installed Michelin LTX AT2's. Watched them torque the lugnuts, and asked what spec they used (130lb ft). I rechecked when I got home and 11 of the lugs were not up to spec. None were falling off loose, but some took near 1/2 turn with my Matco 1/2" torque wrench. Glad I checked.

I really think it comes down to what market you are in and finding the right medium to reach prospective buyers. I had my 20" Night Edition wheels with the stock tires on Craigslist for months (I don't do FB, don't have those other sales types of apps). Tried $600, dropped to $500, eventually stopped renewing the listing. They then collected dust for a while in the garage, until a similar thread to this popped up. Another member reached out and we worked out a deal.

I'm sure you're right about the market. But I'd guess 20" tires would be a little harder to move than my 18's were.

Quick question didn't want to start a whole thread but with the factory tires my white sidewalls are out on my next rotation can I change them so the Black wall face out would that jack anything up? Been rotating them every 6k they have 18k on them already and look good.

I had the 20" and donated them to the local trash heap. IMHO they were the worst tires I ever experienced. Can't believe that Ram puts that tire on such an expensive vehicle.

Won't jack anything up if the tire shop is careful taking them off. Meaning they need to lube them and make sure everything is lined up right when they hit the GO button on the tire machine. I've demounted many without issue but I've torn some up too when I knew it didn't matter.
