Not sure where to post this but I was wondering if anyone has replaced the factory alpine sub with something other than the pioneer shallow mount?
I’m not sure how deep the enclosure is but I’d really like to run a JL 8w3 in the factory box and use an aftermarket amp. The alpine just doesn’t cut it for a lot of different music types.
Or has anyone removed the sub and measured the depth? I think the JL 8 is around 4.5” mounting depth.
Any help is appreciated
