EGR Electrical Connector Broke (my fault)

Not sure how it happened but while installing my S&B intake I damaged the plastic connector going to what I believe is the EGR valve/solenoid. Only reason I say that is cause I got a check engine light pertaining to the EGR. Pushed the connector back on and wrapped tightly with electrical tape and snugged her up with a zip tie. All good now, no code. But with that being said, would anyone know where to locate OEM style connectors without having to purchase a complete harness?

I did the exact same thing! I’ve been trying to find a connector with no luck. I am going to try electrical tape and a zip like you did to try and clear the code.

No im almost 100% sure they wont be the right ones i have never seen a vechicle come from the factory with deutsch connectors

They look close, I wasn't going to tear everything off till I had something in hand. Will get a better look at the connectors this weekend.

The good thing is I ordered form Amazon so easy returns :D

Great connectors to keep if you add accessories i love them just be sure to buy the proper barrel crimper…

That might be.

Will pop it off this weekend and take some pictures for comparison. Thank you for the info. Wonder if you can pop the pins out and insert them into the new connector.

Curious why you had it disconnected in the first place?

You can remove the pins with the proper tool. Should be able to find one on Amazon.

There is a small red retaining clip that you have to slide out. From there they pull out pretty easy. Some were stubborn but a small flat head or pick is all you need to pop them out.

I had to order another connector. Sent an email to S&B, no adjustments can be made since the box mounts into 3 pins using the provided grommets. This is a manufacture defect. If the holes were drilled a little bit to the right inside the box it would shift the air box to the left giving the proper clearance. For now I am back to the electrical tape, zip tie, and factory air box.
