Just curious, has anyone ever seen or heard of this being done with a Ram 3500. AEV website says there 3" dual sport lift can be optioned for 40" tires and that I would work with DRW.

Fitting 40s with the AEV lift requires also using their high mark fender flares, which require cutting the fenders and bed. Not saying it wouldn’t work, but I don’t know if the rear flare would work on a dually.

I don’t think you would need a rear flare for a dually.

Yea, I just thought it looked cool. Im planning on getting the AEV bumper...maybe the suspension down the road, thats about it, but maybe it had been done, I could work on it in phases. I dont think you would actually need fenders in the rear since you have the dually fenders already on. I think 38's would be the largest id go personally but,

The AEV fenders are only partially about covering the tire. They're largely about covering the edges where you've had to cut a couple inches of sheetmetal away to clear the tire. Might work on a dually without the cut, but I'm really not sure.

Yes I’m tracking on that but I’ve seen 37’s and 38’s on the rear no problem, but you have to run a 2-3” spacer and the tires will stick out past the dual fender. So I don’t think you actually need to cut the rear of a dually to fit. Maybe in a no lift scenario but id upgrade my suspension before I went with a larger tire.
