DRVM add 2024 2500 Rebel

Yes, you can get the processor, the correct 2023+ CHMSL with the cargo and DRVM camera, and you’ll need a custom harness for the DRVM processor. It installs under the driver seat near the surround view camera system processor.
Do you know what is the connector needed for the harness ?

Here's a link to my teardown of this module:

@CortexM0 I have been reading a lot of post and think I am going to go this route for adding the DRVM. Does using these parts not require a 2023+ BCM for a 2019 truck like when using the mirror that takes direct camera inputs? Also, did you use factory farka cables or found another source that are keyed correctly? Thanks!

@Jimmy07 or @CortexM0 (or anyone else who might know): What connector/pins do the power and ground for the DRVM module under the drivers seat come from? I've got the adapter harness that uses the upper dash power socket connector, but I'm already using that to power some other accessories and I don't want to hang anything else off of it.

I just got a DRVM mirror. module and what not that came with a power harness that goes to the cigarette lighter so I think it just depends on who made the adapter. Were you able to get everything hooked up? I'm just starting to dig into this and the biggest thing I haven't been able to figure out is are the RVDM, CHMSL and Trailer farka cables already wired from the factory but just tucked away or do you need to purchase and run them yourself?

The only reason it seems the farka cables are already there is when I looked behind the spare tire there's a cable run to the position where the stock trailer cam connector would be, but it isn't connected to anything since the cam connector on the dumper isn't installed.

I haven’t gotten around to it yet unfortunately.

The Fakra cables aren’t there, with the exception of the one from the front of the bed to the rear. You still need the one that runs from the outside to the inside of the cab, and all the inside ones.

Ok, that's kind of what I figured/what makes sense. Do you know where on the front of the bed that cable terminates? Also it's a bit confusing which cable type I should be ordering. I've seen several posts that talk about using RG-58 coax, but when I go to Pasternak's site which seems like a good option to order custom lengths that isn't an option for cable type. They only have PE-C100-LSZH, RG-174 and RG-316 and I have no idea what the difference is between those.

Thanks for responding so quick!

The camera module only needs ground and power to work, that's why the harness goes to the cigarette lighter connector. You will need Fakra cables, one from the mirror to the module and another from the module to the digital mirror camera. The rest are the side and trailer cables.
