i have a 2022 Ram Laramie. The drivers door does not line up with the seam of the back door. The passenger side is good. The other other issue it doesn’t shut well and when you open it the handle feels cheep. Took it back to the dealer 2 times going back for a third. Just wondering if anyone else has this. Get it that most doors are put on by robots.

thanks

will try to post pics later

I'm not sure I see what your issue is, but my doors are seemingly fine. No complaints on my end.

Ahh yeah, my doors definitely aren't like that. Looks like the metal wasn't bent correctly.

Next time you're at the dealer, take a look at the other trucks.

ya I don't think mine are either I'll snap some pics for post tomorrow. my only issues is I have 700 miles and have to slam the doors to get them to shut. not enough break in on the weather seals yet. ohh and that stupid 12 inch u connect 5 that likes to freeze and drop your station presets but still play radio. it always resets so not too big of deal.

My 2021 has the exact same issue. I noticed it the day it was delivered and brought it up with the dealer immediately but they said there was nothing they could do as the door is adjusted properly. Seems like a stamping issue right from the factory that is out of spec.

Body panels and doors especially are supposed to be checked during PDI by the dealer when it arrived. However, most if not all dealer service tech's doing PDI's are rushing them through and only make adjustments if someone says something or it is too obvious to ignore. Then, when said gorilla gets the idea to make the adjustment, they realize they are only getting paid .5 on the job and they bust out the air tools LOL!

Does your door shut all the way most times?

dam after you mentioned this I looked at my doors tonight both sides are like yours. I have to slam my doors to get them to shut but just figured it's because it's a new truck. also noticed it's got a lot of air noise when driving so I'm sure it needs to be looked at.

My door shuts totally fine, just the edge of the door sticks out slightly in the middle and doesn’t line up smooth with the back door panel just like the original poster’s picture
