Rather than ask easily searched and I am sure common questions I would like to use the search function but it doesn’t seem to work.

I have literally put word for word topic titles in both Tapatalk and the website and nothing comes up. What am I doing wrong?

I'm certainly no luddite, but I can't get either search function to provide any returns...
Just the same response not matter what

Either Search isn't "phrase" friendly and only looks at each word.

The Advanced Search can do short or common words the search "magnifying glass" doesn't accept.

Other than that, Google site search as suggested is best.

Search has worked fine for me recently. Looked up “motorcycle” and “bike” to see what carriers people are using on their truck. That’s on safari using an iPhone.

it is blunt force trauma. Keyword search generally sucks when it does not accommodate phrases, prioritize results, learn synonyms, and allow admins to promote content for specific searches.

It's XenForo, I don't think there's much @Admin can do about that other than perhaps hook google search into it.

Use Google or duckduckgo if you need more natural language searches.

when vBulletin was acquired the developers split off and Xenforo was the result. It’s the same PHP stack and the search is MySQL search. What they call advanced search is basically the addition of boolean operators. There is nothing admins can do, it’s a weak platform capability
