Disconnecting telematics

How is this telematics connector detached? Specifically the gray connector?

Just visually and guessing some

Near the red wire is what looks like a hinge point for the gray plastic lever

If you follow that grey plastic lever to the connector, it looks like there is a tab there that that is retaining the lever from moving. That tab looks like it is part of the lever but not certain.

Slightly lifting that tab should allow the lever to move.

Those plastics get brittle when old or cold

There are often more than one of them on a connector like that.
