Hi all. I just ordered a 2023 Laramie 2500. I didn't order a Limited due to wanting gas this time around & the Limited is diesel only. Also, I prefer the 6 person seating arrangement which also isn't available on the Laramie.

Does anyone have any idea why the Digital Rearview Mirror and the automatic running boards aren't available on the 2023 Laramie 2500 while they were available on the 2022? My order is still modifiable and I'm hoping something changes before it goes firm. Any insights/thoughts would be appreciated.

Most likely resource availability. They are allocating them to the higher trims. The digital rear view will be available on the Laramie’s sometime in the next three months.

There were a bunch of options pulled from the Laramie trim level for 2023 including the power running boards, fully digital dashboard, and the fender flares. As was mentioned before, it likely comes down to parts availability.

Looks like they've completely removed these from the Laramie highlights now. So from the newly marketed features for MY2023...Laramie pretty much only gets the new mirrors. And you get to pay several thousand more for them!

I still see it listed in the highlights. You need to make sure you are clicked on the 2023 as Ram inexplicably still has the 2022’s as the default page.

My bad. I must have had 2022 selected. I do see it there now. Interestingly, the other "available in spring" things are actually available for the Laramie trim, but this one is not yet. I see it is an $1135 option on the Limited trim.

Limited in diesel only?? I am glad I got my 2022 2500 limited hemi then...

I didn't know about this until just getting my 3500 Laramie two days ago. I had purchased a new 2022 2500 Laramie last year and I optioned for the package with that mirror. Long story short I found the payload was not going to be enough with the 2500 and had to reorder for the 3500.

I ordered every option as I did last year and added the air suspension, and long bed. I went to check it out and found no more fender flares (ehh ok, disappointed but I'll get by), and no digital rearview mirror! Wth?! Of course no one at the dealership knows crap. Can I get by without it? Sure, but that's not the point, I was expecting it and could use it. I spend over $10,000 more on this truck and I get power telescoping mirrors, and a sporty non functioning hood, Cool, but they take away the useful features?!

I'm a bit upset about this and I don't know how much good it will do besides make me feel better, but I'm going to be complaining to Ram in a few different ways. They advertise it all over the Ram website, but like it's been discussed, it's only an available option on the limited models and still shows "coming spring".

Ram needs to be more transparent, and I think giving people the opportunity to have it dealer installed, on their dime, would be a nice gesture. But I'm not keeping my fingers crossed.
