Hey folks. I have an outside 600 gal fuel storage tank, there's a mix of summer and winter blends of diesel, it just got to -5F here (AB) and it looks like it's gonna stay, will definitely get worse in the next few months. I didn't need to use fuel out of the tank recently but if/when the need comes, I want to be able to use it without worrying about it jelling. Before I top it off I'd like to dump some additive into the tank.

What I need (in priority order):
  1. Stop / prevent fuel jelling
  2. Take care of the moisture that could make its way into the tank
  3. Stabilize the fuel for extended time
Claims I don't care about:
  • Extra lubricity
  • Lower ash
  • Injectors cleaning
  • Increased performance / fuel economy
Just need some basic additive to address the top 3 or at the very least the 1st point. Not willing to pay extra to get anything special that adds any of the last 4 points as I think they're not needed and are mostly gimmicks (snake oil claims), but if some of those claims are in there on the bottle that's fine too.
What additives would you recommend based on my needs?

Has the fuel started to cloud already? Many, if not all, additives that lower the CFPP won’t work once the fuel has started to cloud.

Amsoil cold flow improver does just the top list of things as a standalone winterizer.

Not sure if it started yet, I'm away at work for another week and won't know until I get home next Wed. Hopefully it's still OK as I mentioned it is a mix of Summer and Winter fuels.
