Diesel Exhaust Fluid Fault Warning messages

New 2021 Ram 2500 Big Horn with 800 miles and the above message shows up. Answer in the manual - take to the dealer. 75% highway miles since new. Any other DIY or pre dealer solutions?

On DEF options- is the DEF at the pump of truck stops like Pilot or Loves acceptable to put in a 2021 Ram diesel? Any risk of this vs. Blue DEF, Mopar, etc?

Dealer would like you to buy the Mopar liquid gold but DEF at a reputable truck stop will be fine. That is where I will be filling up on my trips.

DEF is DEF, it's all fine. Pump, Blue DEF, Wal Mart brand, etc.

Just avoid old def. Containers are labeled with a date code. Some are easier to read than others. Truckstop fillers should have fresh def as they go through it fast.

Walmart brand, half the price of Blue. Same stuff.

I get DEF error messages on my tractor when the DEF sits in the tank for a few months. Tractors, it turns out, don’t use a lot of DEF. I drain the tank, refill and the message clears.
