Hello all,

It actually took quite the research to find a rack that was compatible with 6'4 RAMBoxes. The best I found were from https://dethloffmfg.com/

So, here is a quick review. Keep in mind this review is against a 2019 PW with RAMBoxes and 6'4 bed.

2" tubes, very well finished and extremely well engineered. Wait. Don't go buy them yet... Continue reading.

The packing is not the greatest. Some minor paint damage was noticeable, but it's a truck. I didn't care too much.

It comes with Stainless steel screws and bolts you MUST be careful tightening them. The slightest resistance, you want to the re-thread: They actually have a warning note about it.

Everything went in as the instructions were good enough for me to figure out. The RAMBox doors do not touch the rack when you open them.

From what I understand, this was engineered before the 2019 PW and a cargo Cam may not have been there before, but that's the only missing piece: the rack's headache piece obstructs the cam RIGHT DAB in the middle! lol.

Now for the fun part: Pictures!

I have a picture of what the cargo cam sees but it hasn't synced to my OneDrive account yet, so I'll add it later.

Edit:

I wish they would either dip the front bar lower or just above the cab. I know it would mess with aesthetics but function is more important I think. That camera would be nice to keep.

can you post a picture of the view from your third brake light cargo cam? I am looking at that rack but am concerned about the camera blockage.

@Dwc7988: the owner did say that we wanted feedback and if there was any improvements, he'd be happy to consider them for future builds. I would also venture to say, since there is no stock, right now, he probably makes them on order and can probably customize it for you.

I would highly encourage contacting him and have a quick conversation.

Interesting. I was just about to pull the trigger on this rack, still mght as I think it looks the best with the Ramboxes. I wonder if you could add a camera to the cross bar and wire it up to the original connectors in the cab. I also wonder how this plays with the digital rear view mirror. Don't have my Power Wagon yet but I did order it with that feature.

Well the digital rear view mirror does not look like it is impacted like the bed cam. But I wonder if the side bar is in the way for the full view of the digital rear view mirror? Now I might have to wait for my truck to show so I can hold up some 2" to see how low/high the bar would need to go for the bed cam and if that bend on the side of CHMSL impacts the digital rear view cam.

I think this is the only option other than the Front Runner rack if you have Ramboxes.

I went with the Front Runner rack because of its mounting/accessory options and the fact that it sits lower and keeps my gear below the roof line. The draw back is that you lose some height for storing items in the bed. But it also secures items from being stolen out of the bed.
