Deer hunting problems

Have done some rough off roading and have had service ESC system pop up and tailgate getting stuck shut. Coincidentally I’m not sure if these are just because of recall issues both seem to have resolved themselves, but temporarily annoying.

When the service electronic stability control was going off, there was a clicking and whining coming from the engine bay every 30 seconds.

Once I turn the truck off and turn it back on, it went away and so did the service code.

Tailgate ended up, unlocking and opening after several tries

Service ESC…Service Trailer something or another..get both often when in the deer/elk mountains.
The last Ford would get something akin in the same mountains. They get confused by the rough terrain I think.
The gas gauge in that Ford and in this PW go crazy in those places when the tank is less than half full, will indicate a third of a tank and then suddenly near empty and then back again a bit later…and yep, tailgate sticking when otherwise never.

No dice on the bucks. lots of new pin stripes and rattles in the truck but I have a bull elk hunt next week. Must have seen 20+ bulls conservatively where we camp at or within a mile, another 6-7 within 5 miles. So I was looking at it as a positive. My buddy drives a Wrangler and has a roughly $10-$12,000 suspension and had his tires aired down to eight psi so predominantly used his vehicle as a means of transportation. But getting the truck back, there was fun.

Going to need to get an ARB compressor as that was the only reason why I didn’t air down past 20 was it was taking five minutes a tire to fill up from there. He had an out Milwaukee M 18 compressor and that took him about two minutes a tire, but he’s on 35 inch tires. Unless any of you have recommendations for something that can pump a lot of air quickly.

I would suggest a Viair 400P compressor. Portable and fast. Probably take less than 10 mins to air all four tires up from 20psi to 65psi
