Decal Delete - Is it too late for me to ask?

Hello all,
I ordered a new 2500 in the first week of October. A few days later I found out about the "Decal delete" option. I called my dealer to ask if I could add this to the order. He said it was too late. He offered to remove the decals after delivery and re-finish the exterior.

I was just wondering if I really need to go through all of that. I have a VIN and the truck is in D status, not expected to be delivered until late January. If there someone I can contact at RAM and request the decal delete be added to my order?

Thanks!
Ron

Not sure how to escalate it. Maybe the sales manager instead of the salesman? Good call on the delete. I did.

Where can I go to see exactly what decals will be applied? I assume the typical 4x4 on the rear fender. What else is there?

If its an offroad then it will have a 4x4 decal other than that it wont have decals unless the dealer puts them on

The power wagon also has decals

No harm done. If you like them, leave them. If you don’t, borrow your wife’s hair dryer and remove them.

Edit: I forgot it’s 2021, perhaps it could be your hair dryer or even your boyfriends. Don’t want to offend anyone.

Well. not sure how accurate the build website is. But if I build my truck as it was built at the dealer, the pictures don't show decals.

What IS interesting is what happens when you select the decal delete option. In order to delete decals I have to select one of these other options? That does not make sense. I don't have any of those options in my build order.

So hopefully, H3LZSN1P3R is correct.
Ron

It’s possible to add this to your order, but I have to warn you, if it is accepted, and the price has changed since your order, the order will be invoiced again and the price increase will be on you. Personally, I would do the decal removal myself. Tons of YouTube videos out there to help if you’re not comfortable with it. It’s very easy to do. Hell, PM when truck comes in and I’ll walk you through it!

I had the dealer remove the Power Wagon decals from mine. If it was just a little “4x4” or “sport” decal I’d have done it myself, but it’s the whole hood decal, bedsides, pinstripes, and tailgate decals….Let them do it!
