Daystar cradle installation

On my 2023 the pad where the Daystar cradles for my Air Lift bags goes has a brake line that might be in the way. Since there's an opening into the bracket that sits on the axle, isn't the easiest thing to do to get the cradle situated, then drill a hole and bolt to it? seems enough room to easily get a nut on, and a cleaner install without the u bolts sticking down. Right?

U-bolts? If you're talking about the u-bolts that come in the airbag kit that secure the bottom plate then those aren't used. The top of the bag is permanently attached to the bottom part of the frame with the supplied brackets and the lower part of the bag "floats" above the cradle. The cradle is installed just like you describe - position it centered under the bag, drill a hole and put a bolt through with a nut on the other side. Easy peasy.

Get a good drill bit. That steel is thick there.

Mine the steel was pretty thin ~3/16” i drilled and tapped 3/8UNF no screwing around with trying to get a nut in there
