Hey everyone , I'm currently looking at a 2019 3500 CC Short bed with the HO Cummins. It has 86,000 miles on it, is there anything I should be keeping an eye out for? Are there any red flags I should be aware of? All recalls have been taken care of but before I spend the cash on this truck I want to make sure I'm well educated on it. Thanks for all the help! I know how helpful forums can be as a former Tacoma owner and TacomaWorld member.

See if the emission system is intact, make sure it has not been deleted. Take a look at the hour meter to see if it had been idled excessively. Other than that the normal stuff like pulling dipsticks to check fluid condition, roll around under it to check for fluid leaks. Being able to have the seller prove it’s maintenance history would be huge.

What is the best way to determine if it's been idled excessively? Taking the engine hours and dividing it by the mileage?
