Cummins Offering $500 Incentive For 67A Recall

With the additional warranty offered, and plenty of proof that this doesn't affect anything except a little more DEF usage, I don't get why owners don't do it.

Even if they're tuned, all they have to do is flash it back in the parking lot after the dealer is done.

Interesting timing since the GHG Endangerment Finding was just overturned. As I understand it, this removes all the penalties the manufacturers faced from emissions violations.

I don't get why owners don't do it

Some of us don't like to be told what to do. And would rather make decisions for ourselves. In fact I think that describes most diesel truck owners.

GHG endangerment finding repeal does not affect NOX or particulate emissions.

I’m wanting to hear from the people that have had this recall done and what affects it has on their truck. If the only change is the amount of DEF usage, what is the difference in how much it uses now versus before the recall was done.
I’m border line on getting mine done.
Will I get any emissions equipment warranty on my truck with 182,000 miles on it?

I delayed having it done for a while because I heard that there was no real upside for me or my truck and it's a hassle to take it in to the dealer. I eventually had it done and it did seem to me to use a little more DEF the very next time I towed my 5th wheel .
