New member currently in the Pacific Northwest. JUST purchased a 2020 Ram 2500 Tradesman CCSB 4x4 w/6.7 CTD. I'm a lifelong Toyota truck enthusiast (still have 2 Land Cruisers and a 4Runner), but got bitten by the diesel bug about 10yr ago. Started w/ cars (VW, BMW) and have been driving a Chev Colorado Z-71 w/2.8 baby Duramax. My wife and I recently made the decision to get a hard-side off road travel trailer, and I found myself in the enviable position of "having" to get a bigger tow vehicle. I've known about Cummins diesels forever, and after reviewing everything available currently, the 2500HD Ram seemed the obvious choice. My wife has even agreed to purchase a basic model and let me upgrade as I see fit; this is almost causing me an anxiety issue, as I look / research / bench build... Seriously, great fun and I look forward to learning and contributing to this forum.

Welcome! There are a few of us first-time Cummins owners here, but tons of veterans so I'm sure you'll find all the answers you need (if you need any, that is).

Thank you for the welcome(s). Stepping up (literally!) to this new Ram, I feel like a teenager getting to drive his Dad's truck! It's on a much bigger scale and taking a little time to get acclimated to.

I moved from a 04.5 2500 CTD and these new HD trucks are a "step up" and take some getting used to.

"Love all the Children!" I always say. Still have a 1985 FJ-60 Land Cruiser w/ Ramjet V-8 chev gas motor I converted in the garage. It's the only moving vehicle in my fleet that fits in the bay now...
