CTS3 and engine load error

Last November I updated the software on my CTS3 and engine load went from working normal (0-100%) to erroneous readings from (0-25K%). I have been working with Edge on this error for over 8 months. Multiple software updates and I've even mailed my CT3 to them twice, and it was replaced once.

Today I got a loaner CTS2 from them and it works normally.

Is anyone else using a CTS3 with current software having issues with engine load?

This is at idle.

When I had mine on the 2019 thats what it would read. I thought it was normal as it was always showing that value.

The wrong reading?
It was exactly what is on your screen just different location. It always read that way since I plugged it in, figured it was "diesel" talk on the load. Im not well versed in the diesel world so forgive me.

Just got mine so once my truck is back from the DPF nightmare I can try it.

I noticed in your other thread that your load was reading 1000%, so it seems you have the same issue.

I’ve gotten the best results from Kloe at Edge, PM me if you want her contact info so you can let her know you have the same issue.

I'm no help because I've never monitored that PID.
But I'm curious, why do you monitor it?

It tells you how hard the engine is working. It’s my main PID, when it works.
So when you know how hard the engine is working how do you use the info? Just knowledge or there is an alert point or ??

Mine runs all the way up to like 18,000 or so (or was it 1800? lol). Looks like the same issue as others.

I had the CTS3 on a few trucks. Switched to a Banks idash and IMO it's a far superior ODB2 reader. Very programable, smaller profile, good build quality and is cheaper. Didn't mean to hijack the thread with some marketing - just my 2c.

Well checked the logs it was a min of 0 and a max of 25600% lol.

The load percentage on my cts3 is all weird as well. I came from the ford world with a iDash and it read from 0-100%

Reporting back in on this, picked up a 2013 and the load is the right % on it with the same CTS3.
