Dealership states adas camera needs to be replaced @ 1950.00 fault was intermittent. But now is permanent question does this
2020 ram 3500 have a steering wheel sensor mounted or part of the clock spring. While running Alfa live the steering wheel sensor was way off. All 4 wheel sensors were tracking the same. Just want to eliminate a false presumption on my part.

Is your steering wheel crooked while going straight down the road?

According to Alfaobd while running in live mode from a parked position. Turning the syeering wheel the Values went from zero to over 4500 ? Not even a quarter turn.

So the question remains does this 2020 ram 3500 have a steering wheel angle sensor in the steering column?

The trucks that have off road pages and directional headlights would need one. Also I recall a post of someone getting a warning light on their dashboard because their steering wheel angle was off while going straight down the road. I looked on one of the parts website and it does not specifically mention it though.

Is 4500 the maximum value?
Sounds like a 0-5V sensor, they generally have voltage outputs of .25V (250mv) to 4.5V (4500mv). I had a similar issue when I did a Thuren level with upgraded drag link on my truck. the steering wheel was cocked to side when driving straight and would not let Cruise engage, similar fault as yours. Once I had an alignment and the steering wheel was pointed straight going straight the issue went away. There has to be a sensor for steering wheel position somewhere in the steering column that feeds into the ABS module to know if you are going straight or not. Not exactly sure were the position sensor is though.
