Crew cab rear seat bottom cushion swap to 1500 seat bottom...

Here's my predicament. The kids don't like the short middle seat bottom in the rear seats of the crew cabs. So I have been looking for a mega cab. ...but used '19's and up are scarce. Then I thought about the possibility of swapping a seat bottom from a 1500 crew or a 2500 mega cab. I realize that I'm talking about fabrication, but I figure that it isn't impossible. Has anyone attempted/completed this???
