Hi, I am in the middle of replacing my timing cover gasket, before pulling the crank pulley off I marked the pulley and the timing cover so that I could put it back on in the correct position, the problem is the engine turned as the pulley was being pulled off, now I'm not exactly sure where it was, there is no key way on my crank for the pulley/harmonic balancer.......how do I align it? Any help would be much appreciated!

There is no keyway or trigger wheel on the balancer. Just throw it on how it looks prettiest to you.

Not necessary here but when I am doing a timing set I remove the starter and bolt a flywheel lock in its place. Flat bar with some holes drilled in it with teeth that engage the starter ring gear.
