Cracked Running Board

Was heading out with the wife in her vehicle when I noticed that my driver's side running board is cracked. It is split right on the seam, so we'll have to see if this is covered under warranty. The truck doesn't go offroad and I didn't hit anything on the roads that would have caused this.

Just a guess, but I will say that they will not warranty that....Good luck though!

Something like that is hard to prove you didn't hit something.

how old are they? I would say if they are less than a year old and you clean them up really good and they do not have any witness marks of hitting anything it is worth a try. If they have marks like they hit some thing or some thing hit them probably not

There are no impact marks on them at all. The truck was delivered to me in Nov 2020 and has 17k miles on it. If I don't ask, the answer will always be no.

yup the worse they can do is say no. A good dealer should take care of you.

Wouldn’t they be covered by the 3/36 bumper to bumper warranty (I assuming they are OEM)?
